Devastator is a competitive mixed team that participates in various tournaments in the mountain West area.

Devastator Philosophy

Our core concept is that teams play well when they play together. Thus, we want to see three things happening: 1) We practice hard together; 2) We enjoy each others' company; 3) We maintain high spirit of the game.

To accomplish those goals, we will have one Devastator practice a week and first dibs on tourney spots will go to people who attend consistently. Note that we will not have official tryouts and cuts, so if you consistently make it to practice, you have a spot on the team. We will also strive to work as a team to achieve our goals and support each others' development. Ultimate is supposed to be fun; we want it to be fun for everybody.

Devastator Schedule

We will start having practices on Wednesday, April 20th at 6PM in Sugar House. We'll try for the south field (the one past the baseball field), but we all know that we have to be flexible with fields that we haven't paid for. We expect people to have cleats on and be ready to go at 6. We will start warm-ups and plyos at that time. Every practice will feature drills and focused game scenarios. When numbers permit, we will finish up with a scrimmage, but this is not intended to be pick-up.

Practices will remain open to all comers all season, but please commit to the entire practice if you are going to attend.
