Park City Ultimate Tournament

The Ski Town Classic is an Ultimate Frisbee tournament hosted near Park City, Utah. The fields are located high in the mountains, where the air is clean and the summer temperatures are perfect for ultimate. The fields are in great condition, and provide just the right cushion for laying out without slowing you down. We look forward to seeing you at this great tournament in the amazing mountains of the Wasatch Front!

Tournament Format

The Ski Town Classic is a co-ed tournament and will follow a 3-women, 4-men format.

When and Where?

Date/Time: August 9-10, 2008. The captain's meeting is at 9am on Saturday.

Games on Saturday will start at 9:30am. Games will start on time. As such, 1 point will be assessed every 5 minutes that a team is late.

Directions to the Fields from Salt Lake City: Take I-80 east towards Park City. Take exit #141 (Jeremy Ranch Exit)and turn right. Take a left at the first stop sign onto Landmark Dr. Follow Landmark Dr. about a mile or two. Turn right at the Ecker Hill Middle School. The fields are north west of the middle school.

Food

There will be plenty of bagels, fruit, water, coffee, and other treats at Frisbee Central each morning. Saturday dinner will be served at the fields immediately following games. Menu by Rico's Mexican, entrees will include chicken burritos, portobello mushroom burritos, pork tamales, and artichoke tamales.

Official Policy

Dogs on the fields MUST be on leashes.
No alcohol on the fields.

Lodging

There is no camping on the fields.
Showers will be available until 9:00pm at the Basin Recreation Center for a fee of $2.00.

Bid Process

The tournament cost is $375.00 per team. The maximum number of teams will be 15. Please send bids to Melissa Hough, 1063 Station Loop Rd, Park City, UT 84098, or register online below. The following information should be included:

1. A $375.00 non-refundable deposit check made out to: Salt Lake Ultimate. Canadian Teams: Please send a money order in US funds as there is sometimes a collection fee to deposit a standard check.
